Actor/director Tony Sears studied Drama at Furman University and The University of Georgia.  He spent several years as the Associate Artistic Director of the Hilton Head Island Playhouse(now the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina) before moving to Los Angeles, where he has been on both sides of the camera for more than 25 years.

He worked in the Art Department of several films and TV shows, including three seasons assisting Emmy Award Winner Richard James in the Art Department of Star Trek: Voyager, later returning as an actor to appear in two episodes.


Sears has appeared in numerous roles for film, television, and stage and has directed many theater productions on both coasts.  He was a recurring guest star on the TV series Drop Dead Diva, playing Judge Redmond, and also recurred as Dr. Everett Davies in season six of Army Wives.   He will appear in the upcoming Marvel Comics film, Black Panther.  He has produced and directed for the camera, including Public Service Announcements, Industrials, a documentary (The Queen of Sunset Boulevard) and several short films.  For a complete list of credits. visit:     Tony Sears’ IMDb PAGE
